Luvs and Lovers, I often wake to some pure crap on my Twitter TL.   I have to side-eye much crap. I am seeing a push by Black intellectuals for a protest vote of not voting.   Seriously folks not voting is the plan?   Folks it doesn’t work that way. The 35.9% of eligible votes cast in 2014 made a decision for all of the nation.   Every presidential election we have the cult of personality.   These are the people who either have no idea of government workings or seek to be part of something larger than themselves in every facet of their lives. If you don’t know your local and state elected officials then your voting every four years does nothing.   Your calls for creating a political party’s platform mean nothing.   The true seat of power in the United States is Congress.   That is why we have the upper and lower chambers of Congress. Fuck’em.   I am not begging anyone to vote for Hillary.   If someone must beg or plead with you for you to vote, forget you.   You don’t give a fuck.   You just want to bitch, moan, groan, and be seen.   However, I am off target.   Hillary Clinton was not/is not required to give jack shit to Bernie in regards to the DNC.   However, she did.   Bernie appointed Cornell West to the Platform Drafting Committee.   Cornell a man who has been vocal about his distaste for current President Obama, a Democrat.   Today, Dr. West is support Jill Stein, Green Party. Party politics is party politics for a reason. You don’t join the year of demanding loyalty or the right to set policy.   If you don’t agree with the Democratic Party don’t be a member.   Build up the Green, Republican, or whatever fourth party you desire.    I say these words as a former staunch Independent voter.   I would still be an Independent if not for the GOP showing they care nothing for the people.   When GOP went t

Sunday after the shooting of officers in Baton Rouge I heard the term “radicalization” in regards to Black males.   There was a desire to pin the blame on ISIS or Black Lives Matter rather than on the lack of due process of law.   Person after person was mystified as to why two Black veterans would become so upset they would shoot police officers.   This “radicalization” was a mystery.
