Calling Messiah - Democratic Party Paging

An offline conversation with a buddy inspired me to update my blog today.  During the course of the conversation it was mentioned there is no one in the Democratic Party to fix all Trump and GOP are doing.  I quickly asked, why are we looking for one person?  The answer is not one person it is all of us.  We must all work to correct the governing of the GOP and Trump administration.
We must not look for a messiah but look within for the leader.  We must cultivate and elect to local/state offices those who will govern with the public good in mind.  Leaders who will listen to the people whom they have been elected to serve.  We must create plans of governing (see ALEC) as do corporations.  We must also cultivate and elect to Congress those who understand public service.  My members of Congress have forgotten they represent Mississippi.  They think they serve Trump and the GOP.
The GOP has made no secret of the plans to enrich corporations at the expense of the poor and the working poor.  We don’t have time to search for a messiah.  When I attend marches and rallies I see many who would do well in public office.  They have an understanding of government not just being an activist.
Stop searching for a messiah to run for office, you run for office.

I am a lover of Fantasy and Science Fiction since childhood. What I have noted over the years is a common theme, humans(White people) have changed the environment to the point of either some horrifying human mutation or some climate apocalypse.  I often wonder why in these writings we don't see an evolution that leads to world peace.  Start Trek is one of the few that shows the possibility for humans after we  learn to work for peace not war.  However,  even Star Trek fails to accur…
